How to use Staking

Staking is a good option for investors interested in generating yields on their long-term investments and aren’t bothered about short-term fluctuations in price. OXY Staking is a simple and secure way for users to earn passive income. OXY Staking offers fixed interest rates based on your staking plans.

How to stake OXY

Step 1: Connect your wallet to the protocol

Step 2: Go to the Staking page

Step 3: Select the required amount of OXY and the staking period and click Stake

On the right side of the screen you will see the income in OXY, the annual interest rate and the date when the coins will be available.

OXY coins can be staked an unlimited number of times for a period from 7 days to 2 years.

How to withdraw OXY from Staking

Staking requires a lockup period where your crypto can’t be transferred for a certain period of time. At the end of this time, all OXYs will be returned along with the yield.

It is also possible to unstake OXY at any time with 7-day notice. However, in this case, there will be a 5% fee (and forgo accrued yield).

Yield is divided into two parts: locked and unlocked OXY. The unlocked part will be available immediately. Locked OXY will unlock linearly every day until December 18, 2026.

How to withdraw unlocked OXY

After the end of staking, some of the OXY tokens will unlock linearly on every day basis
